The Point

Welcome to Dissident Records & Books. This site is dedicated to the promotion of music and literature created to inspire and entertain.

The ethos here is simple. We believe strongly in individual rights and expression. The reason we exist is to combat public apathy created by the overly commercial and corporate landscape in America that offers many choices, but few true alternatives. Too many voices that deserve to be heard are kept silenced by the mass media culture due to 'marketability' issues. We are here to try and bring some of those voices to you for your consideration. Our point is show that some of the best art in America is yet to be discovered and presented to you.
